Code of Conduct
For Aust & Hachmann (Canada) LTD, the UN declaration of Human Rights, the UN convention on the rights of children and the elimination of all discrimination against women, as well as the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) are precious assets. The implementation and observance of these conventions are objective of our approval and support.
Our company is based in Montreal, Canada, and has no production sites in other countries. All relevant requirements of the above-named conventions are used without restriction. Therefore, we can guarantee compliance with the requirements of the BSCl Code of Conduct (issued 2014) for our company.
These include in particular:
- Compliance with (local) laws
- Freedom of assembly and the right to collective bargaining (trade union freedom)
- Lawful wages, reasonable compensation
- Compliance with the laws governing working hours
- Health and safety at work, occupational safety
- Prohibition of child labor
- Prohibition of forced labor and disciplinary measures
- Environmental and safety issues, environmental protection
- Ethical Business
- No precarious employment
- Special protection for youth workers
- Reasonable working hours (less than 48 hours per week)
- No discrimination against persons (for example due to age, origin, religion or gender)
